TYRE PROTECTION PLAN (TPP)
TPP now covers both Singapore and Malaysia!
Tyre Protection Plan (TPP) is City Tyre Auto’s comprehensive warranty program offered with every purchase of participating consumer tyres from City Tyre Auto Pte. Ltd. (CTA) in Singapore or Hawk Tyre Service Sdn Bhd (HTS) in Malaysia.
City Tyre Auto Pte. Ltd. (CTA) and Hawk Tyre Service Sdn Bhd (HTS) will provide repairs for all damages that occur under normal driving conditions in Singapore and Malaysia respectively.
In the event that the damage is beyond repair, a new tyre will be replaced at no extra cost!
Eligibility:
- All consumer tyres from participating brands purchased and installed from CTA or HTS will be enrolled into the program.
- Only registered passenger cars for private use – excludes vehicles registered for commercial use and taxis.
- Claims are only applicable for damages that occur under normal driving conditions within Singapore or Malaysia, and must be for the same vehicle number plate as reflected in the invoice.
- The damaged tyre must, in the sole determination of CTA and/or HTS, be in an unrepairable state and meet the claim requirements.
- Claim date and mileage must be within the specified period, mileage limit, and above the minimum tread depth (if any), as defined by the participating brand’s claim requirements, whichever comes first.

- What tyre brands are covered?
Goodyear, Michelin, Pirelli, Hankook, Nexen and Triangle passenger car tyres:
- Purchased from City Tyre Auto Pte. Ltd. (CTA)
- Listed clearly on the original purchase invoice
- Must register (Goodyear only) at Goodyear Singapore
- What types of damages are covered?
Road hazard damages that are beyond repair: punctures, cuts, bulges and/or impact under normal driving on maintained roads.
- What is the validity period?
- Goodyear: 12 months OR ≥ 5mm tread
- Others: 6 months OR ≤ 10,000km
Validity starts from the date on your Original Invoice.
- What items are not covered?
Towing, fitment and balancing charges are not covered and must be borne by the customer.
- What types of damages are not covered?
Collision, vandalism, misuse, fire, theft, or intentional mishandling.
- Can I claim if I lost my original receipt?
No. The original receipt and damaged tyre must be presented to process a claim.
- What documents are needed?
Original receipt of tyre purchase and the damaged tyre.
- Can I claim after 6 months?
Yes, if it’s Goodyear with more than 5mm tread.
No, for other brands – claim must be within 6 months of purchase.
- Can I change to a different brand/model?
Only same brand and model allowed. If unavailable, you may switch with a top-up. No refund if replacement is cheaper.
- Can I claim at other shops?
No. Claims must be made at City Tyre Auto outlets only.
- Can I claim my damaged tyre in Singapore and Malaysia?
Yes you can! Only participating brand tyres purchased from either City Tyre Auto Pte. Ltd. (“CTA”) or Hawk Tyre Service Sdn Bhd (“HTS”) Outlets is eligible for the claim! - Where can I go to for my claim?

The Tyre Protection Plan will cover the road hazard damages that are beyond repair such as puncture, cut, bulge or impact during the course of normal driving on a maintained road. - What if the claimed tyre is out of stock or not available in the respective country?
Similar alternative brands and models may be offered with a top-up if not available. No refund for cheaper alternatives.
Terms & Conditions:

Tyres damaged due to the following are excluded:
- Road accident
- Driving under influence of alcohol
- Racing on roads or tracks
- Intentional mishandling, fire, vandalism, or theft
- Wilful damage
- CTA and/or HTS will determine whether the tyre is unrepairable.
- CTA and/or HTS decision is FINAL and CONCLUSIVE.
- Repairable tyres must be paid for by the customer.
- If unrepairable, CTA and/or HTS will replace the tyre with the same size and pattern (if available). Alternate brands may be offered with a top-up if not available. No refund for cheaper alternatives.
- An installation fee of $25 NETT per tyre applies to all claims.
- All towing, balancing and alignment costs are customer’s responsibility.
- Replacement tyres are not eligible for future TPP claims.
- No claim without proof of purchase.
- CTA and/or HTS may update the TPP policy without prior notice.
